i believe its the low end circuit being a little rich. my buddies viper that has fuel screws turned out farther than me, requires a little throttle input for those warm starts. my viper on the other hand with a leaner fuel screw setting doesn't require throttle input for warm starts.

I have 2 stock 2002 vipers, carb settings have never been changed from dealer set up , both of them require a little throttle to start whe
n warm.

I would agree. I never ran into this until I ran my screws 1/4 turn out past the original setting (for another reason - I think I went to 1 1/2 from 1 1/4). Turning them back corrected the hot soak restart issue. Tip in was also a bit blubbery at 1 1/2.

My 2002 Viper used to start on one pull when hot now it is anywhere from one to three. Any thoughts as to why?
