Will an aftermarket late 80's SRV540 pipe fit my 1980 Excel V?

These snowmobiles have the same engines, and the pipes seem to go the same direction upon exit. What are the chances that an SRV pipe will fit my Excel V?

Yes it will fit. You may have to modify the exit pipe depending on the unit you purchase. I have a phazer psi pipe on my excel V right now. The fit with some minor tweaking was excellent.
