Passed the 20,000 mile mark today on the 1985 Phazer.
It's still great to drive and I don't see any reason it's life will ever end (except possibly a bad accident), I'll just keep fixing it and running it.

there was a few years back i hear about a guy that had 100,000 miles on his phazer. he was an old guy from canada and didnt beat on it and re did the rings every year cause he was putting on 3000 miles a year. or it might have ben km but either way still impressive.

GOOD FOR YOU! That is a good ride not many people on this site or any other could say they did that with one sled, The sled did its job and keeps on giving.Happy birthday phazer from the past posts you are good for another 80 years with alittle help.

i dont know how much he was puting on a year. its just hear say but i heard it a few different times from different places. this was back in like 03. story was he would ride it everyware during the winter. from the story i heard was he lived in his hunting/fishing camp up on one of the lakes that was only accessible by either a pontoon plane or a snowmobile during the winter. just repeating the story i heard might be BS but if any sled could make that many miles it would be a yami.

I just bought a 1985 with 3200 miles this weekend. It runs better than my SRV...

We have one with 14,500 and one with 12,300 in the family. Both bought new and NEVER re-ringed yet, they definately are down on power but still start pretty good and run smooth so why bother.
