Look at going ot BC mountain sledding this weekend. What type of helmet is suggested as everyone seems to use the motocross stlye? Are they the same as motocross helmets as I have one? How about google, do you need tear offs? Any help appreciated.

I live in alberta but ride in bc and I have a motocross helmet with a breath deflector and rose tinted googles works great the breath deflector is the best money spent no more fogging

Most motocross helmets will work fine, the goggles are a matter of personal preference as strapped or tear offs both work fine. Bring a spare pair though. This time of year, the temps are usually above zero so fogging is not much of an issue. If you do get a cold morning, the breath deflectors are the ticket.
