I got a chance to get a 2006 Venture XL for a really good price,
What do you guys think of this sled? any major problems? any tecnhical stuff would be appreciated.
All i know so far is,
Its a really good deal for this area,
500 FAN motor

well, here it is

it is basically what I have, but with a 500 FC motor.
It is a very nice 2 up sled, chassis and susp wise. With my 240 lb self, and my Gf that weighs about half of me, it rides really nice, and handles very well. it soaks up the stutter bumps very well up to about 40-50 mph.
the headlight is a little lacking, as it has the same single bulb light like my 97 venture 600 LC twin has.
the mirrors are ina dumb position, as your hands are directly in the line of sight for the mirrors, so you need to move your head to see whats behind you.
if the price is right, go for it. it is a solid sled, and a great back up/ 2 up to have around

How much power do you think this 500 FC have? horsepower wise, and I know, I don't expect it to keep up to my Viper. I just like having the extra little bit of power on trail when we need it, because we trail ride at about 50 MPH, depending on conditions.

I think the phazers were good for 60 hp or so. I would suspect it would have the exact same motor as a newer 2 stroke pro action chassis phazer.
edit.. confirmed 60 hp well at least the phazers in those years were.
