I have two rear shocks for for the skid if my phazer. They are both old but I want to put on the one that is in better condition. Now this may be a stupid question but oh well, how should the shock perform? What I mean is, one shock rebounds slower than the other but feels tighter. The other has much more spring, almost bouncy when I push it in. How should the rear shock on the skid act?

all depends on the preload it has.Don't want it to be rock hard with little movement.Shocks may need to be re charged to after a lot of miles.
They both compress with equal force, one rebouds quicker, with bounce. the other slower no bounce. Which would you use?

slower with no bounce, the bouncy one is bad...............
