These spare powervalves if ordered from my dealer would cost me nearly
$600.00 taxes in.The 1st three from left to right I just got from a TY member. The fourth one is one of my original PV's and had a pull thru. Will put a wooden dowel or plastic thru the hole where the cable end slides thru and then JB weld the pull thru and slot solid.Thenwill drill out the dowel since it will be soft, can't damage the original hole. Then will take hacksaw blade and cut the slot on top and debur.Should work as a spare. To expensive to just throw out...lol

It works great on cases, heat exchagers, engine blocks. But it did not work on a power valve that i tried. But i tried to weld the cable to the valve not the way you deciscibe so give it a go.

when I got time,I will try it.Maybe in the summer months. Then I will put valve in a vise, tie a cable to the end of it,put the other cable to my truck and see if I can pull the cable out.If my bumper comes off the truck..I will know it works.Oh by the who..will JBWeld the bumper back on the truck...lol
