What grit is used for the final hone, 180, 240, 320??

What type of cylinders. If they are Yamaha Nikasil, and they aren't all marked up, (can still see the XHatch) I would leave them alone. Not many hones will do much on Nikasil.

there from a 79 et 340, not sure
I don't see any crosshatch.

Not too sure about that sled. I would ask some of the vintage guys. Post in the vintage forum.

240-280 grit will work just fine.
