I,LL SUPPLY THE CAN THAT WILL WIN THIS DYNO TEST. '' THE STOCK ONE '' 3:16 (yammie tony)
I'd love to see the outcome from this test. I went back to the stock can myself as I found the aftermarket a bit too loud on long drives. I can't say I noticed any difference in the 2 when trail driving. Snow conditions make more of a difference than anything. I had a bender can on.

Back to back races on our ZRT 600, with a MBRP. The sled WAS faster with the can, and the weight loss was exponential, i believe its over a 10lb decrease, the stock can on that sled is a breifcase.
Dyno Tune is good for numbers but the real performance is seen on the track, the problem is there is your never gonna have identical runs with non can and with can so you will never have a accurate comparision. Either way this arguement will never end its prominent on almost every forum.

We had four SRX's on one of our rides this year - two 02's and two 01's - two had MBRP cans, one had a Hauck can, and the 01 I was on had a stock can - I beat all three sled to the century mark then they would walk away from me on top end - the other 01 was identical to mine with the exception of the can - all three of the riders were lighter than me and I think that is what made the difference - if these cans loose power it is so minor that it does not matter - just for the record we were trading wins with a good running 03 F7 and beating two 600 Rev's and an old 95 Mach triple real good!! - I guess one of the guy's with the Rev beat one of the guys last year and he thought it was going to happen again - NOT!! LOL!! - the ripsaw on the SRX leveled the playing field for snow racing - wasn't even close!

I agree.
Let all the talking stop with the dyno results.
same dyno, same machine, same time, and all dyno runs at the same engine temp.
I do believe that brands like sno stuff would possible lose power compared to stock, as when I ran a DG full pipe - and silencer combo- on my indy trail it actually made less hp than the stock pipe through most of the rpm band. at WOT, it made like 1-2hp more, but it lost power everywhere else compared to a stock pipe. it sounded nice, and was light, but not worth the losses over most of the operating band.
If that had been a PSI, or Aaen, or SLP pipe, I bet the results would have been different.
