CDI problem???? HELP NEEDED!!!

Well, I checked the voltage output from the pickup coil as I pulled the sled over. It basically showed zero. Moved the needle but barely. It might have read 1 volt. I am assuming that it should read more than this. These wires go directly to the CDI and from there to the coils for the plugs. Does anyone know what the pick-up coil should read for voltage?

the pick up coil should have 189-231 ohm's across the white/red wire and the white/green wire. i don't think there's a spec for the voltage output.
