I almost can't believe it but man the sleddin was awesome today. Put on over 100miles in just under 2.5 hrs this afternoon. After the rain and a bit of a thaw everything froze up hard for 6 days so there wasn't very much cooling until later in the day and the sledding kind of sucked because everything was so hard. But today the sun was out and broke things up a bit so I hit the Little Mississippi river just ourside of Ottawa and ran it full throttle for about 8 miles, bends and all, man it was smooth. Sled was a bit slow in the spring conditions but man it was awesome.

Got off the river and hit the trail until I hit the Ottawa river and crossed it into Quebec. Ran the trails in the Pontiac.... nice and smooth...I was the only one out so far. I guess everyone is working or is sick of winter. Speaking of work I better get back to it so I can head out tonight for another 100!!!!

Yes....sledding in April is a real possiblility......Done it lots before but not right out my backdoor!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome! Hmm, we just got 15cms of snow in Parry Sound. I just put stabilizer in my tank last weekend. I think we can still ride another few weekends!

i went to caribou, maine this past weekend for my last ride of the year, here is a few pics, there is enough snow up there that they will be sledding until may this year...lol

Going to the hunt camp this weekend which Im sure will be our last ride of the year.

akrievins: 15 cm is good news!!! we are riding to Parry Sound Saturday. Did they ever get all that groomer lawsuit sorted out. Did the groomers even make it out this year over there?

ViperDoug, I have no more holidays or sick days to take off. When ever you go for a rip let me know. Its Trevor from Buckums bay, just to make sure your the Doug that needs the viper clutch weights?

I'm heading out for a rip tommorrow afternoon for sure.....I have to pick up the kids by 3 though so maybe 100 miles again or so. March 28th...yess....I will be out all weekend as well.....is there a radar run on Sunday???

I work till 6pm tomorrow so i can't go during the day. I don't think there's going to be any radars becuase the boys are going to Mt Valin for that big party on sleds. Stop by the house and have a drink this weekend

I did another 74 miles this afternoon....April 2nd right out my back door.....We had a big melt but the trails in the fields and bush were absolutely awesome....you just had to watch for the melting streams that washed out the trail in a couple of places.......I ran a bit of water crossing the Carp river but I never thought I would see it sledding in april and have good conditions out my back door......yeeeeeesssssss
