Hey, I've got some type of oil leaking out from under my sled? It seems to have come out by the front heat exchanger. Any ideas what it could be coming from? Bearing in Chaincase? etc....?
Any help, ideas would be greatly appreciated, it's an 01.
Thanks!

Should be easy to tell what it is and where it is coming from. Check your oil level in the chaincase. Take out the air box and see if the hoses going to and from the oil pump are leaking. If any of these hoses are leaking you could be running with a low oil to gas ratio. Anyway, IMO you should find out where it is coming from before riding it anymore.

Could be residual oil coming from your air box. No big deal. Could also be oil coming from the weep hole behind the water pump. If antifreeze comes out the weep hole you have a waterpump seal problem if it's oil then you have an oil seal problem which means you have to pull the waterpump stuff out because the oil seal is behind it all. While you have it all apart, change the water pump seal too.
Hopefully it's just coming from your air box.

Could only be one of two places.
Injector oil or chaincase.Could be the inner seal on the chaincase where the drive axle goes in.Keep an eye on your injector oil level and see if its dropping.

I doubt its the water pump if its leaking that much to leave a puddle while the sled is parked.
