Had a great ride yesterday, Dropped in Sherman and rode to Ashland over to Presque Isle than to Houghton and Back down to Sherman. My viper and Mikes Warrior ran flawless and the trails were great! ITS 85 north from Sherman was flat and very fast all the way to Ashland. ITS 88 from Asland to Presque Isle Was also flat and fast! ( Pole line and really nice big hills) ITS 83 to Houghton was also in great shape! ITS 83 down to Sherman had a few rough spots but was rally overall good. We put on around 275 for the day and could of done more if my buddies 07 Rev 800 ( 1500 mile) would not of blown a chain case. Yes, Thats right upper gear nut backed off and Chain came off and blew out the entire sides of the case. (Oil Spill) The locking key was still in the center of the nut butout sides were gone. Will post some pics later. Wasted about 2 hours on that deal! ITS 88 was the best trail I rode all year, Combination of sceenery, big hills and smooth as...... just great! Wish I would of taken some pics but just couldn't bear to stop! Overall the trails were great for the end of March! The County of Maine will provide good riding for 2-4 more weeks! 2800 miles so far for the season! Thank you snow gods!
