Rated R is supposed to be tunable to over 1000HP.
yes seen that a few years ago but this is impressive for a two stroke.

That is Tom McKonkey's sled. It is a 4 cylinder 1725cc engine, built by Don Emery at D&E Performance, with the nitrous tapped directly into the intake port on each cylinder.
He had a bad year this season, and was unable to harness the nitrous. The first pass with the NOS he hurt every piston. Then, the following event, he threw the nitrous on his little motor (1570cc custom 4 cylinder), and split the crank. He never did get the big one running again. I'm sure he'll have it figured out next year.
