Well another year of sledding comes to a end .Trails are offically closed here now and the snow is melting fast.sort of looking foward to another year of fishing now though not sure how much i will be able to afford with the cost of gas expected to hit 1.40 a litre.thats 6.30 a cnd gallon, ouch!Might have to use the 14 foot cedarstrip with the 15 hp evinrude a lot more than the 17 foot with the 90 rude just to economize a little.Think i will save up for a zx2 ad-bovin suspension over the summer also .As much as i would like a new sled i would like a new 4 wheeler more!Enjoy the summer guys and dolls!

It is $1.21 per litre for regular here now.Expect gas to go up to $1.50 to $1.60 per litre by May long weekend. Your $1.40 is a low estimate. That will take us into the $7.00 per gallon pricing. We'll see how many of them big boats will be riding this summer. And the motor home and trailer sales should drop some.Don't forget...it is not just the price of actual fuel that will hit you,it is everything you purhase to live.Their prices will go up accordingly as shipping prices rise.Gonna be a cruel summer.Just cutting my 5 acres of grass is gonna cost me $40.00.Guess the grass will be growing longer this summer, with fewer cuts.My spending will drop some..got to save for my later years somehow.I might grow corn in my land and make my own fuel or something...sheesh!!!! NOT FUNNY anymore.

yeah, it does suck....

here in the states, they fully expect $4.00 a gallon by summer. Which means running the boat with the 351 will cost even more. I have been contemplating my own still as well...
Plus we are driving out to california for 2 weeks (5k miles)and back at the end of May- first week of june. I fully expect to waste $1300 or so in gas for that....I wish we could fly out, that would save time and $$, but it is not an option this time, we usually do fly out.

Our Government charges so much tax on fuel to us,if they wanted to stimulate the economy or even give us middle income earners a break, they could cut tax on the fuel...but no..they are just loving the $$$$$ rolling in.They don't really care about us,as long as their pockets are lined. They are supposed to represent us and seems like they always do the complete opposite. They want the majority to be poor and that way it numbs us the poor tax payer.I should start to drink heavy..that way they collect more taxes again .

Our current Government is screwing the US's middle class as well, so much that there really is no middle class anymore.

I think it sucks everywhere...

there is hope for you guys....> Obama........yeah right. The babies like his name at least. GOOD LUCK with your future government.
If Jesse the Bod Ventura runs for President...you may have a chance...LOL

I think any of the current crop of candidates will be an improvement.

Bare minimum intellectually wise...
