Compression?

What shoudl the compression on a stock 01 srx be and also what should it be on a sx 700 with thinned headgaskets

On my compressinon tests, my SRX has been at 145psi stock. I don't know the modified SX. Hope that helps. Brasd

my 01 srx stock pulled about 130psi per cyl on a snap on gauge. big toe just did his 02 and it pulled low 130's as well. i'm guessing brads above has had the heads cut or added thinner base gaskets or both to get that high of a reading. ski

Ok i got 133 psi straight across on my srx not bad for over 6,000 miles eh! and i got about 145 psi on the sx straight across

i had 135 across all three last year with 10000 km and that was before i did the top end

some gauges read hi and some low so be careful

I tested my 1997 700SX (with headgasket mod) with a Mac Tools
gauge and it pulled low 140's across the board.
