Wondering what the best way to remove and reinstall the rivets in a Yamaha Clutch. I've never done this and don't want to damage my weights so any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Vince
It's easy! I center punch, then drill a hole approx the same diameter as the shank, into the rivit head. Then lay the weight across a vise to support it, and drive the rivit out with a punch and hammer.
On the tech page there are plans to make your own weight holding tool. I just printed a copy of the plans, took it to local machinest. He made me one for about 20 bucks, works slick!
