warranty question - studs?

I didn't find this clarified in the warranty fine print anywhere.

If I spring for the 5 year warranty, and I have the dealer stud the track, am I covered if a stud rips through a heat exchanger and I melt down my motor?
If not, there's just no way I'd run studs.

Thanks for any help.

I don't think anyone will warranty a stud going thru a heat exchanger - nobody can control the maintenance of your sled (loose studs) or what conditions you run in (dirty or rocky trails).

Just a thought,
you might be better off using a prestudded iceclaw with the studs already in the track.
This track would be safer than no studs.

cheers,
Rick.
