TEATHER SWITCH ON A VIPER????

WHAT WIRE'S DO YOU TAP INTO ON A VIPER TO HOOK UP A TETHER SWITCH :?: :?: :?:

If it is the same as an srx...open up your handlebar pad, and tap the 2 wires into the kill switch circuit. There are 3 wires coming from the kill switch/throttle over-ride junction. Tap into the black wire, and the black wire w/white stripe. Leave the third wire as is. I just looked at mine to make sure. Easy. :wink:
 
Well, I don't have my motor in the sled right now to check, but I believe if you have the sled running and pull the kill switch plug, I believe it still runs. The tether and kill switch would be completing a curcuit to kill the motor, so I think that means it is a normally open curcuit. I just drank 1/2 a beer, so if someone else has a better answer, maybe listen to them. (hicuppp!!!) :mrgreen:
 
chill buddy,im not a electrican or a rocket scientist so how the hel would i know when it comes to pluging anything in. :roll:
