hey
i was gonna buy this kit but decided to make it because the person i was going to get it from took to long to get back to me! well anyways i took 2 drivebelts and used a utility knife and cut every one of the teeth off of the inside. im going to put it on tomorrow and was just looking at the suspension just now and it looks like my set of wheels in the middle of the rails are too close to the back arm! i think that the belts are going to rub on the wheels. anyone know for sure if this would work well on my 04 viper mtn? also by the way i am going to cut the tops off of my tranfer rods for the bushings.

I put a MPI kit on my 98 srx and cant keep the ski's down. My brother thinks my handle bars are to high 8" also. So how do you adjust the straps to keep the ski's down?

The quick answer is go to MPI's web site and down load the instructions. The more you compress the suspension (tighten the straps) the less the ski lift. Shock setting is not as important as strap tightness for ski lift. Set the shocks for your weight and set the straps for desired ski lift/pressure under throttle.

so if you make and install straps such as you have here i can cut off/ unbolt the stock transfer rods??

Yes remove them completely. But you will have to install a spacer on the top shaft fo make up the space where the collar was. I just cut the transfer rods apart and used the collar off of the transfer rod itself. Hopefully that makes sense.

Pics
Would anyone have some real good pics of the transfer kit? From multiple directions? I would like to see exactly what it looks like. Thanks
