I have a SRX based 980 big bore engine. I do not run powervalves. I am
running a SX wiring harness with the SRX stator and flywheel. I am using the CDI from a SX 700 for a better timing curve. My question is would it be an advantage to use the SX stator and flywheel at all or does it even matter. I just have the extra plug from the stator blocked off. By the way I run this engine at 8600 rpm. Thanx for any help.

No benefit to the sx flywheel and stator over the srx's.
