Guys, tonight was the first time ever in my life I went to the track. 2004 ZO6 CE

Very inconsistent. Didnt know how to launch the car very good and I was in competitive mode. Back tires were hopping off the line. I am leaving on the last yellow light before it turns green but still not very good with gas and clutch

Best time

Reaction .93

60 FT 2.26

330 FT 5.88

1/8 mile 8.81

1/8 mile MPH 85.02

1000 FT 11.26

1/4 mile 13.33 @ 109.89 MPH

Can somebody just tell me how I need to leave the line with the clutch and gas pedal? Also was I ok in competitive mode..

what rpm are you holding it at before the launch? It sounds like your letting the clutch out a little to fast. You need to ride it slightly a bit.

That's getting it done for a stock car.

2500 RPM at the tree but I got excited and dumped the clutch and nailed the gas.

I did not deflate my tires to 25 PSI like I should have. They were at 45. The rear end was wheel hopping off the line. There is alot of room for improvement at the tree I have to do. Its a low 12 second car...

I think Im addicted now.

The people in the tower finally got to talk to instead of un returned emails about running my SRX in the bike brackets!! I have a guys # and he will let me know next week. Im not gonna do it if I can only do a exhibition.

Tire pressure will help alot.Wow 45psi
Never drove a vette hard on the gas but sounds like you need to practice on the clutch.

I must have been doing everything right last week. Tonights times were very consistent with last weeks. It was a busy night and a ton of cars there.
I put the rears at 25 PSI and on the first run I pulled a 13.40 @ 112
Second run is where I got got beat. Ran a 13.61 @ 108

I was all over the track though

My conclusion to this is I think I got the light down now, but I really need some Drag Radials.

Good news for when I get back from deployment at the end of the year. I talked to the guys that run the place and they said I can run my SRX in the bike brackets!!! Will be much more to follow on that this December/January.
