While summerizing my sled today, my buddy informed me that I had my reed spacers installed incorrectly. In my stock sled (viper) I originally had a 3mm spacer (1/8") between the reed cage and the jug, and I kept that so the order goes: jug, original spacer, reed cage. My buddy said that I shouldhave removed the original spacer.

thats the correct installation order, hope you have a gasket in between the spacer and jug, and then one between the stock reedblock and the spacer, there is no gasket needed for the boot, it has a built in o-ring seal.
