Old phazer suspension

Have an old phazer that i am trying to keep running for my son but the rear suspension is in rough shape, I was thinking maybe some other skid from something newer. The rest of the sled is prettty good ?? :dunno: :dunno:
 

Yes it can be done, but if it's just an old sled for your son, I don't see the point in going to a different suspension. When you go non stock on things like that, what seems like a simple operation can turn into a real project. Old Phazer parts are usually easily found and cheap. I bought one for 45 dollars at a swap meet. It needed some parts replaced, but you could combine parts from the two suspensions. You would also have some replacement parts then.
