ok i have removed and cleaned power valves ...and reinstalled them ,,,when i start it up will the servo motor go back to required position ? or do i have to turn it back by hand ? i didnt know i was suppost to mark it .til i read the posts .....what should i do now just start it ?

NO...NO...start over, cause if it was at half cycle & when you would start it you could pull the cables through the valve eye...Go over the instructions again & re adjust, mark for future use & you'll be good...try & see if theres a fellow T.Yer nearby to help you out...

when she fire's up the servo will go to a set position(valves closed),you'll need to either idle it down to 900 and under OR get your self the PV harness tool(you can make your self for $.03)so the servo pulls the PV's
open. then set free play to 2.5mm.

try a search should be tons of info on the procedure

well i have several threads on this and i am lost..from what i understand i should just start it up ,idle it below 900 turn off than use the allen wrench to set gap to 2.5 or 3 mm ...tighten bolts and good to go ?

ok since i didnt mark the pulley before i did this ...i have to start it up idle below 900 ..and that is were i should have mark pulley and need to do now ..and than loosen the 2 bolts and insert the allen wrench between....and adjust cables til pulley lines back up with mark i made while wrench is holding the 2.5 mm gap ? once all lined back up on pulley and gap is set remove allen wrench and tighten bolt and i am done ??

I pull off my W pipe (header) & do the feel method...get a hold of daman, he will tell how to do it the allen key way...he is busy during the summer season so it may take awhile for him to reply or maybe someone else my chime in & help...he is on line now, just p.m. him

No you do not touch the pully after you set it(idle down motor)

you should be able to get it with the posts blue posted(read again).

Ok,

set servo(idle down motor 900rpms and lower)and mark it

go back up to the servo and unloosen(turn in) all three cables

go back down to a valve and unbolt the housing(pic in the link)and pull
appart.

insert your two 2.5mm A wenches

go back up to the servo and GENTLY....tighen(turn out) the cable thus
taking out the slack till it just tuches the A/W,stop ypur done, but
be carefull over tighting will pull the servo pully off the mark, then you
would need to start over(settting the servo by hand alining the marks)

move to the next PV and repeat till all three are done.

ok i think i have done it ...very easy just dont see how i could not understand it til i have done it ....when sled is off it goes rite to the mark i made roughly 10 oclock position ...at 1600 idle it turns back to roughly to the 11 oclock position wnd when i rev it half throtle or so it turns to 2 oclock position roughly ...for a second or so .....or should the servo stay at the 2 oclolck til you let below certin rpm ....just want to make sure all is working corrrectly...

Valves start opening up at about 65-67-7000 rpm or so...they start closing around the same rpm...the signal comes from the cdi unit...
