Never liked all the stickers on my viper. Removed gaudy hood stickers, left the main hood black and plan on black windy soon. What do you think? Thanks Blue

looks good. I have to say I'm surprised the stickers came off so clean. The ones on my vmax were ridiculous to get off, and ended up leaving a mess behind.

the key to getting them off is a good heat gun and some goo begone. then its
quit easy

Yea I did both and it wasnt at all easy. The heat gun kept hurting the paint more then anything, and the goo gone got the residue off but did not aid in sticker removal.

He's right. Heat and goo begone. I used the wife's hair dryer Low temp than heat gun. The first one was much harder but had it perfected buy the second one.
- use hair dryer to assit in peeling the sticker off
- use goop on remaining film ( small section at a time)
- use cotton type cloth with pressure starting with finish to almost scraping sticker gum with cloth.
- takes time once starts to gum up than comes off in clumps
- use goop again as needed and apply pressure to keep moving from good finish through gummy area's.
- Once cleaned use a good wax and should clean right up!

These were the hardest stickers ( gummy substance was really tough) to get off. Most I removed in the past just took alittle neverdull and minor pressure.

I plan on putting a blck windy on her next so That's why I left the center black sticker for now. I may take the side off but we will see.
Thanks Blue

I've found that hot water works the best to remove stickers. Does not hurt the paint but it does make the vinyl workable. Some vinyl will come off with the adhesive if you pull at less than a 90* angle. Goo Gone and 900 from Kleenflo will work to remove any adhesive left behind.Just remember to wash the area after you are done with soap and water to remove any chemical residue on the painted surface
