Have a 1970 SS 396 with a 1973 GP 433 motor in it. The secondary works OK but the Primary has seen better days. I am looking to (a. Replace the stock clutch with another or (b. Replace the stock one with a Comet or comparable. The sled will come out of the hole and die off at 20 mph. Like the primary just will not close up. I think the weights have been grooved. I can put a primary from a 338 on it but dont know what that will do either. Has the twin pipes and a single carb off a 75 GP 433. I have also put the slide rail from the 75 under it and need some Hyfax saver wheels for it. There are no wheels on the rails.I believe there was an update to add wheels on the 74 - 75 slide rail suspensions. Any help would be apreciated.
