Well, the crappy hot weather is upon us so now is the time to get started on getting the sleds ready for the 2008-2009 season. Here is what I am planning for one of my 2000 SRX's:
1. complete engine rebuild, 12,000 miles time to freshen it up
2. rebuild the rear skid: replace all the stock plastic bushings with oil-lite bushings that I'll make, new hyfax, marginal snow wheel kit
3. predator track, fully clipped, 1.25" lug height
4. Simmons skis
5. Blue tinted, low profile windsheild
6. silver ceramic coat the pipes

I have another 2000 SRX which needs a little TLC. As soon as I get the first one done, I'll go through the second one. This one needs a couple of the blue plastic parts. They are getting hard to obtain!!!

You got me thinking - I wonder how hard it would be to sleeve the id of the arms the shafts travel through and to just get the cross shafts coated with teflon?
