I bought a 91 Exciter 570 sled engine for my single seat dune buggy but when i receive dit the guy had taken virtually everything apart. I bought a manual but it doesn't have nearly any hose routing info. Right now my to biggest concerns are the oil pump hose routings and part of the carbs routing. I MS paint'd the photos to make it a little easier to convey my questions.

On the oil pump there are 2 large ports and 2 small ports. I'm guessing 2 are the outlets to the carbs i believe. Now are the other 2 a feed / return setup or are the both feed ports. I threw numbers by them so maybe someone can tell me #1 goes here, #2 goes there, yadda yadda.

As for the carbs i'm guessing the 2 connections with the black hoses are for coolant lines, i won't need those if that's the case. This buggy will see limited cold weather use. Now i'm guessing the 2 white ports on either side are for the oil lines. Now are they both inlets or a feed / return setup.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jay

Ok i found a page way in the back of the manual that slightly clears up one question. Looks like the oil mixes with the fuel before the pump so i'm guessing the white plastic ports on the carb are fuel over flows or something of that nature? All other questions are still up in the air. thanks

on the oil pump the two smaller ones are outs.... from what i remember the oil line closest to the center of the pump shaft is in and the other is a return to the tank 1 goes to fuel line 2 is FROM tank 3 is to fuel line 4 is TO tank... the oil mixes before the carbs and what you thought were oil lines on the carbs are vents.. make sure you keep them the stock length

Thank you very much sir, i think that should get me going. Now i just gotta find the time to start mounting the engine.
