has anybody got any experince w/ the (i think there called) bender rods w/ the blue adjusting knobs? just wondering the set up on them thanks.

ya but how do adjust them lol. im going to put them back to the place they were before i moved them to put the supension back in. i did it w/out loosing the rod bolts as well.

loosen the allen bolt &turn them.i always ran myallen a little lose so i could turn them when ever i needed.just use lock tite & they should be fine that way with out tighting them up all the way

i guess i must not have the same kind as you as mine doesnt have allen screws. they have a blue alum. knob for an adjuster. i guess they must not be what someone told me they were(benders) so ill keep searching for what they are. thanks again bully

I had the benders on my 98 srx. The thing was, the one kept on transferring more than the other even though they were adjusted equally. And then you had this allen screw as well. I think maxxperf ones are the way to go. I have them on my 02 srx and they work like they were installed from the factory, execpt that the weight transfer is excellent. They are a true "no wrenches needed" set of rods, you just turn the knobs.

Maxximum Performance Hand Adjustable "Quick Rods".
ok i found out these are what i have, and not bender as i thought.

The Max Perf. rods are great.Have them on my SRX.Simple to adjust to.Start with a 50/50 space top and bottom when you are sitting on the sled.If you want more transfer..simply adjust accordingly. They are really nice rods.I was playing around with mine towards the end of the last season just to see what happens.I had my SRX doing catwalks with no problem. But probably the best is when the ski's just lift off slighty so that you can still have some stearing capabilities...lol.But it looks cool when ski's are pointing straight up and you catwalk the sled. Not good this way thouigh if you are going to race someone.Experiment with yours until you got the feel you want ,but if you want to simply impress your buds, crank them rods to full transfer..it is a blast.

those 7 machined lines are settings for transfer. 1 is closest to adj nut, 7 is furthest away. 2 is standard setting. increase number=more transfer. adjust each side equally. check your track tension when running in 6 or 7 you might have to tighten the track a little. just experiment with the settings for snow condition and riding style.
