For all you fisherman out there here is a 6 1/2 pounder I caught at a fishing tournament on kensington lake here in michigan. It took first place. I didnt win any $$$ but I won alot of gear. I wanted to let it go but after weigh in she would not go I tried to revive her so did some other people. I was pissed. I am a catch and release guy especially ones that are this big. So instead of eating it I had it mounted.

They are bigger than that in Michigan LOL.. JK that is a sweet pic what did you catch him on. That is awesome!!!!!! We call them the water wolves..

That's a really nice bass for Kensington. I've never been out on it in the summer but in the winter I know it sucks for ice fishing. At least for me. I end up going to LSC most of the time despite the drive. I spend alot of the summer after walleye. We did ok yesterday on the river.

Nice fish chadg - the area must be good this year - here is one i caught in May on a lake by Howell - I didn't have a scale, but it had to be all of 5 pounds - caught him on that Busch Light can!!! LOL!!

nice fish yammiman those fish sure do get thirsty LMAO...... how many inches was it?

Dnale yes lake st.clair is the cream of the crop for musky and some pike. There are even a few Natural tiger musky in there as well. Yes kensington is garbage... You have to have the perfect day and time to get anything to bite in that lake. Sometimes it just seems dead..

Good stuff Mark, beautiful !!!!

Which lake is that? Earl ?

Chad nice bass.
I haven't went out for 3 weeks now.The last two times I was out I caught a muskie what's the odds.
A 42" 17lb and the other one was 41.5" but didn't have a scale it weighed more then the 42" though.

I didn't weigh it or measure it - yes it is a private lake that a friends in laws live on - we've been going there for the last 17 years - it is full of bass but no pike - this is the biggest one we've had in the boat - bass fishin with a case of beer, and a bucket of chicken - don't get much better than that!! - except snowmobiling of course!!

Gimme an idea which lake that is . . . I am just curious.

Ding - if I tell ya, I'll have to kill ya!! - it's Pleasant Lake south of town - the south half of the lake is owned by a farmer - the north side has houses and a religious camp on it - it got real low a few years back and the camp put in a big well and brought it back - beautiful little lake!

chadg - do you know what the measurments of that bass of yours is? - I did some calculations on the one I caught and I'm coming up with around 7 pounds - they look real close in size - thinking about having a replica made!!
