Well BRP seems very confident they have come up with a 4 stroke sled that they claim has a lot of torque. It pushes 130 HP out of the box .They have finally realized what Yamaha has realized many years back or what? Now they will come up with some sort of video clip I assume and show their sled is lighter, has better fuel economy and handles better then a heavier Yamaha 4 stroke. What do you sledders think now or does it really matter at all? I still am a Yamaha rider and will never change my ways. We'll have to see the reviews on it I guess and people will decide on their own anyways. It's what makes the world go round..competition....BUT I sure hope that the price on sleds do not go up anymore. It's going to be like as pricey as buying a car or what? The manufactures better watch out that they don't over price their units, how on earth will they ever be able to get the young up and coming potential customers to ever purchase a sled when they are so sky high in price already. With the economy going like it has,I'd be surprised if sleds are going to sell well, job loses, gas prices ,lack of snow and insurance are playing a lot into the sale of a sled the way I see it.What are your thoughts ???? I have nothing better to do right now,so just wanted to see what others are thinking.I still love my 2-strokes by the way.Got 3 sleds running now,and purchasing a new one is not even on my mind.

I don't know who's signing the checks at Ski-Doo but I can't believe how much money they have put into the sleds in the last few years. I might get flamed for this but I think Doo is going to cut into Yami's 4 stroke market with this sled. I'll stick with the 2 strokes for the time being. Apex MTX is too heavy and the Nytro MTX ain't got enough power. My next sled will either be a '09 Dragon RMK 800 or a '09 Summit XP 800. We'll have to see how the Doo's run this winter.
