maxdlx - Off topic, but how did you do going from the viper to the warrior? I have been chatting a little on the 4 stroke side and it seems to be a mixed bag for guys coming off of a SRX and going to an Apex. My dad is switching this year, and I will next so I am wondering how long it took you to be hooked.

Yes the viper got parted out, it was a nice sled, and i may build a srx just like it in the near futere. I have never regretted going to the warrior. My viper would run close to a stock attak, needed 93 octane fuel and got 6 mpg. The warrior will run close to a stock attak, runs on 87 octane and cosistantly gets 16.5 mpg. I wish I would have tried a pro x skid in the viper, may have made it even better. I did ride a sxr last winter, and it felt like I was sitting on the ground compared to the hi seat on the warrior. All in all I wouldn't trade back to a 2 stroke, the srx will be for my step son. Paul

My buddy's uncle gets 16.5 mpg with his stock viper ...... I use to get 15 with my first one, not quite as good with the newer one. sorry to jack your thread paul!

Mine got good gas mlage too when stock, but once the mega power heads and aaen pipes went on and I upped the compression, it loved the gas stations. It loved them so much t would get there really fast. LOL Maxdlx
