Ok the ride on my sled is nice but I am thinking about switching out the shocks or possibly getting my rebuilt. What shocks can I throw in mine that will just bolt up? I would love to put some fox floats on it but have no idea if they would work. Or the option to have them rebuilt is there to. What do you think?
I do 90 percent trail riding, and about 5 on the lake and the other 5 in the deep stuff in Houghton.....

I have used Pioneer recently as many others have, but I have also used Bruce in the past and he was a great guy to deal with.
How long do shocks usually last before they start to go, I have about 2300 miles on them now. But I am looking for something a little better for cornering and I have to use the one members tech page for the pro action skid cause last season I really didn't have much time to dial in the suspension.

The KYB's should be done around 2500 to 3000 miles. get them revalved for your weight and ridding style, and you won't believe they are the same shocks. different shocks, unless short travel, won't help cornering, the spring settings will. Maxdlx
Well looks like I have some phone calls to make, how much does it usually run and how long does it take??

I use deycore out of stillwater, mn. As long as you get in before Haydays, the turn around is usually about a week or so. After haydays, it can be as long as 1 month.

B-line wil be by far the cheapest, around 40 per shock. he will have them back in a week or less. He used to run with the Yamaha snowcross team trailer. He will get them spot on the first time. Maxdlx
Well looks like I have some work to do this week, I am going to give Bruce a call and see what he can do for me. Does he have a website or email by chance?

Nope, just call him and have about 45 minutes set aside, you will be shock wise when you get off the phone. LOL He is a great guy to talk to and deal with. Maxdlx

Deycore is also around $40 and located in Mn. I haven't had the luxury of using B-line, although, I will probably try him this fall when I rebuild my other set of shocks.
Unfortunately, I am unable to find a website for B-line.

I haven't read all the posts to this thread so I don't know how many people have mentioned Bruce at B-Line Control in Lindstrom Mn but, I would second any suggestions to use him. I can't say enough good things about the Viper shocks he rebuilt and revalved for my sled, weight and riding style that allowed me to long travel my '99 SX. I bolted them on at the preloads and other chassis setup info he gave me and he was spot-on. I love the ride I got out of them without sacrificing the slot car handling in corners.
