I got it done. I went from the stock 1987 extended to 136 rear skid to a 1999 Articcat Powder Special 136. It should ride alot better and I am thinking of going to a 144 or 151 track with extensions and swaping out the drives to 8 tooth. No matter what I do the GREEN wheels have to GO.

That doesn't look right. The top idler bracket should be much farther forward.

I think mighty is right. your rear scicor arm will be at full transfer just when you sit on the sled. You will also havea problem keeping thesprings in the retainers that way. With no one on the sled, the rear arm should be all the way forward against the stops. maxdlx

I made a templet of the Cat when we took the skid out and I have not changed anything on it. When I sit on it, it compresess the skid about 2".
We will see what it does.
