I am planning on doing this to my sled because it sounds like it works very well in the tech pages. I am wondering if this will slow my sled down and I want an honest answer. I know this sounds sweet but I do not want my sled to slow down. Has anyone done this, if so what are your thoughts. In the tech pages it says that it gives you free HP but is that really true or does it only sound better. I want to know every thing you know about this modification. Thanks

You can not just stick a drill up into your srx can, you have to take the thing apart and remove a baffle plate from inside. You most likely are not able to do this by yourself and will have to send it away for somebody else to do, unless you know somebody that is capable of doing it.
Doing this will not likely effect the performance of your sled at all, will just change the sound.

2000 srx, i think you have your sleds confused. the mod in the tech page is for a SX 700 not a SRX. hope this helps, ray
