Just got it delivered to my garage door this morning. It is in great shape set up for grass drags. Dave Delaughter built the motor and pipes. Pat Hauck set up the base for clutching. Tunnel ported, 48mm carbs with custom slides, Pro comp II tach, set up for cool down cart included, Grass suspension with Polymer grass track with titanium grass hooks, 2 stock ice tracks one with steel cleats other has aluminium cleats plus he has some sort of alloy cleats that are extra , and stock ice skid with sway bar links. Stock air box and cardboard air deflectors with all sorts of race bulletians and manuals. Chassis, pan , ski's, as is seat and boots in excellent condition. Will get some better pic's soon. The previos owner owned it for the last 20 years and only raced it a dozen times. He said he needed space for his new Harley. This is going to be my best winter project ever. It has all matching #'s . Never thought I would own one of these beauty's.

that is a sweet looking sled. that sounds like a keeper for sure.

tunnel porting

They machine the upper crankcase to match the intake passage to the case. It increases flow and HP throught the range. You have to use a minimium of usually 44 mm carbs

Isn't case porting creating more volume in the cases. Tunnel porting is just opening up the intake passages to create more flow. If you check the Aaenn performance web site they list specificaly a tunnel porting modification to improve flow in the intake passages. I was told it was tunnel ported I don't believe they case ported it but I will find out for sure.
