1992 Exciter 2 Good or Bad

Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a 92 Exciter and was wondering what the good bad and ugly of this sled is. I have always liked the look of the later exciters.

Other than the fact that the gas milage is going to be pretty bad (10-12 mpg), I dont think there is much bad to those sleds.

Mine was a lot of fun, and a great learning tool. After a season I parted it out due to a badly bent frame that I failed to notice when purchasing. Mine was an ST long track.

I have a 91 Exciter II and it's been a great sled. Mileage could always be better, but I paid $750 for it with only 1600 miles. I may put on some plastic skis, but other than that, start it, run and have fun. I've gotten mine up to 92 mpg, and most of the power seems to be in the mid-range. It doesn't come out of the hole very well. Have fun!

It took me the better of a half mile across ice, but I got there. I also weigh in at a whopping 140 lbs

if you could find a sx it would be better flatslide carbs differant porting differant y pipe mine i could get about 17 mpg
