I have Elka long travel shocks on the front end of my sled and was wondering if anyone know of a good house in MI that could work on these?

I bet mailing them into Pioneer in New York every year is getting very expensive for you.

Thanks TSU I've used those guys before for my wifes Fox shocks, I didn't even think of them. I'll call them to see if they do Elka's.

Nice to see you too Tommy Boy! How the hell are you? Does Pioneer do Elkas?

Greg, Im doing great. Ill me heading up to Michigan in Mid January for about 30-35 days and will be in your are for a few. Im in micronesia right now. very small chain of islands in the pacific and offer the worlds best diving with all the sunken japanese war ships and aircraft from WW II Ill be in Okinawa Japan in a few days.

I would call pioneer and find out. I have their catalog on my desk back at home so you will have to find a number. they do a variety of diferent shock and have alot of assets to do about anything so I would say yes but call them..

Thanks Tom I'll do a little looking around, I'm sure I can find their number.
So you're "working" in the south Pacific. Poor bastard.
I hope a fish bites your ***.

Is whatshisname (Bruce maybe) of Shock Therapy still in business? He is in Owosso or Perry or somewhere around there . . .

Thanks Greg, yeah pioneer does great work but you might be able to give somebody local a chance and it might be cheaper. Im sure everybody would like to hear about other shops in MI to have shocks rebuilt.

I am having a great time. I spent my 4th of July in Guam and had a blast..
Bad Company came to the Naval Base and played for about 3 hours. It was an absolute riot and I was hammered drunk. He was going on and on about his music explaining each song. Before he played Holy Water he was tellin us he made so much money of that song it was F---ing rediculous and about how it got him to the states.

I know alot of MX guys use a place called MCR(Matt Crown Racing) to have their shocks rebuilt, don't know much about the shop, sorry.

I believe its Bob. He did the Ohlins from my Viper last year, did a great job with the valving and at a reasonable price.
I called MCR(Metamora,mi), they were quite a bit more $$, but I have heard good things about them as well.
