1999 600xtc

Does anyone know if they made a 1999 XTC with a Tripple 600 motor?

I think they were all twins until the SX series

i belive he is rite ...the 99 sx was the first triple ...the rest were twins

My 1998 SRX 600 was the first 600 triple. Then came the SX series. We have "98" XTC 600's , wich were the twins.

An XTC would be a twin, I believe. I think the '00 Vmax that was in the ProAction chassis was a triple, but Im pretty sure that XTC still had the TSS suspension and was a twin.

96 was Pro Action and TSS, with twins. 97-98 trailing arm and Pro Action with 500 and 600 twins. Also available as a 700 triple. 99 and up were triples.

The twin motor is a time bomb IMO. Look for a triple.

The twins are just fine,very reliable, i got many thousand miles on my twins
with no issues at all,,far from "a time bomb"

but yes the triples are more smoother and fuel efficient
and also run for ever.
