Does anybody know what pistons Maxium Performance used in there 2nd generation Big Bores. I just picked up a 98 SRX with there kit in it. I was told they used Vmax 500 pistons. Any body have any experience with this kit and their performance. Any info would be apprecciated. Thanks

I at one time talked to Gary at Maxx Perf. He said the second gen ones who a Suzuki piston in them. Can't be vmax 500 pistons the stroke is 68mm on those. Srx has a 62mm stroke. Wiseco 780 pistons part # is 9386p7290. Call Bruce at pioneer. He used to work at Maxx Perf.

yeah, didn't they use some arctic cat 500 or 580 pistons or something like that?
Check w/AmatoSRX, I think he has a Maxx kit in his SRX that he rebuilt. And I do believe that he had to use the Arctic Cat pistons.
