Just throwin this out there - I know theres some vintage sled guys out there.

I was pokin around on the metro Detroit craigslist in the rv section and found a 79 SRX 440C for $500 - posted 9/15/2008

Glad to hear it. I figured somebody would buy it. I wanted to - I think Vintage sleds are pretty cool. I started out ridin my dads 80something 440 and that thing was a beast, not in the best shape but it was still a blast for a kid. I want to get one again eventually but I dont have thie time, space or money right now. Glad to hear you got it - have fun with it!

CONGRATS ON THE FIND. I BEEN WORKING ON MY 79 SRX THAT I BOUGHT BRAND NEW THIRTY YEARS AGO. SLED BEEN SITTING FOR 5 YEARS AND NOW IT FIRES ON ONE PULL. HOPE TO MAKE A RUN WITH IT IN OCT AT A VINTAGE SNOWMOBILE RADER RUN. 3:16 (yammie tony)
