Hi guys,
I thought I'd introduce my self.
I'm Darin. New to TY but not to sleds. I'm a mountain rider in Idaho.
I know I ride brand X (Dragon 700 RMK), but I do love a few of the yamaha sleds. MM-700 and Viper in particular. Love them triples. Big turbo 4 strokes are great too.
One thing I noticed right off was the lack of bashing here and that is good.

Welcome to the site!!
The lack of bashing is deffinitely one of the strong points of the site along with great members from all brand X's. Alot of great technical help on here as well.
Sno-Xr

Welcome.
You have the bashing right.Even though this is a yami site we still try to control the bashing of other brands.

Since you guys are into Polaris... Any good sites out there for them? My brother in law rides a 2000 (I think) XC 600. It's the one with the valves...but not the newer chassis. That is a good running sled and I'd like to point him to a good site if there is one.

Thanks guys.

Hey there Shortstop, I didn't know you were here too.
I must be right at home. lol

I'm everywhere. There is a separate(although still TY) 4 stroke forum as well, the link is at the top of the page.

There are no Polaris dedicated forums that are very active. Polaris forums is one of them(the only that I know of actually) but it was just started a couple years ago and doesn't have alot of action. Snowmobile Fanatics has mostly Polaris owners but there is alot of kiddies there which can be annoying/frustrating at times, nonetheless it's a good forum and it has the best user interface out of any forum hands down. Hardcore Sledder is where it's at for Polaris short track info, SnoWest for the mountain stuff.

Do you like Gladiator movies?

:dunno:  That was out of left field. That's what we expect from you though Bischof. ;)!

The Polaris guys do not have a dedicated forum because they all feel that if they keep thier little tweeks and finds to themselves they will have the fastest sled and no one can beat them. :bash:
Bischof... have you even been in a cockpit before?
:wel: Welcome to the site, Darin!

Thanks guys,

Polarisfiles.com is now merged with snowmobilefanatics.com

Welcome to the site!! I'm sorta new here as well compared to some of the other members here but I already feel part of the club, its pretty nice. The people here are awesome - very knowledgable and helpful, every once and a while they can even make ya laugh - or just say "WTF?" (especially Bischof).
:wel: :rocks: :yam:
