I'm thinking of ordering a pair of their Tundra boots as they have the lowest temp rating in the product line but would like some real world ratings of their equipment. Can anyone vouch for their boots and whether they are worth buying?

i bought a pair of their sonic racing boots 2 years ago and really like them. they are a lot stiffer than i was use to. after two years the only thing wrong with them is one of the grab loops in the back ripped off .

Friend of mine got a pair, leaked . Returned for a 2nd pair, leaked . Had wet feet first ride both times, got a refund and bought Klim Adrenaline GTX boots, loved them . 7 out of the 8 guys I ride with have the Klims. They are pricey, light weight, waterproof and breathable. You get what you pay for IMO.

If I remember right, rhe RU boots aren't exactly cheap...
I have the townsend boots and they are pretty decent. Going on my third season on them and I use them ice fishing too.

The biggest reason I'm thinking of trying the RU outside boots is that I'd like to get away from the old fashion heavy clunky type of boot in favor of something easier to move around in and still be warm.

Get the Klim Adrenaline GTX. Had mine for 2 full seasons. Light, comfortable, easy to walk in, great ankle support. and most importantly...DRY!! My feet sweat a lot! They are dry and warm after every ride. Went to Togwotee in March. First evcer mountain trip. ALL the guides wore Klim boots. These are guys that ride EVERY day and are digging out us flatlander newbies constantly!

Get the altimate boot, temp rated to -95 below zero, can't really beat that, and if its that cold out you are gonna have bigger problems besides cold feet.

I have a pair of their older boots and they are very comfortable and light. They have not been the warmest boot though, especially if you are standing on ice for long periods of time. I would probably check Klim next.
