US/Canadian Exciter's.

Hi everyone, I searched the site and didnt have any luck on this one. I need to find out the differences in the US and Canadian Yamaha Exciters. My 1979 has a speedo in Kilometers and i'm curious as to its origins. I can only guess its Canadian. Any help would be great.

All older Yamahas had the large number on the speedo in Kilometers. Jeff Wurl

In the USA, they switched to Klicks in 1980 and only for one year or so.
