My 98 SRX 700 right side heat exchanger has a hole. Was wandering if the Venom 600 heat exchanger will fit? 8df-1240F-00-00(SRX), 8ek-1240F-00-00(Venom). Does the "8df" and "8ek" make a difference in any way. I wander if they hold the same volume of coolant?
When I stretched my Viper I used coolers from a 98 MSRX and every rivet hole lined up. Just had to drill extra holes for the added length. Don't thijk you'll have any problems 
Ok, thank you viper dave, I have a 98 MSRX and a 98 SRX. They are both running good, except for the heat exchanger on the regular SRX. I would like them both running, one for speeding and one for climbing. There is a junked Venom in my village, was wandering if it would fit my reg SRX. Thx. If last resort, I will take them off my MSRX and use it for parts.

They are definately different. The SRX has more capacity and holds more fluid although that is not a huge deal. Also, the one from the Venom will have 1/2" tubes on it while the ones off the SRX will be 3/4. You can make it work but you really ought to be looking for them off a Viper or SRX. As stated above, however, all the rivets will line up just fine. One of these should be relatively easy to fine on her for cheap....get the right one.
