From Stock To 36mm Bore.

True Blue - Welcome to TY. Mine are bored to 35.5 and the walls are thin. Be careful if you decide to bore to 36mm. If you try the search engine feature here on TY you can find discussion on bored carbs. You may be able to find a triple rack SKI DOO carbs @ 36mm that will fit without the hassel of boring.

I have not dyno'ed my engine. Simons cpr stage two porting and pipes. Mega power heads 24cc setup to .050 squish. Gutted air box with extra holes in the top of the box. Carbs bored to 35.5 vented to atmosphere. Some guys on TY say 170hp or more. My guess 162-165. ---mac---

one more question ,have you or do you know if it is possible to run a viper
with no tps on the carbs,if so how do you bypass the tps.

Yes bypass is easy. Find the two wires from the TPS. Unplug the connectors. Then connect the two leads one into the other completing the circuit.

if this is done, won't the midrange timing or something, be affected?

im pretty sure that 35.5 is about max...could be wrong.but i never heard of any stock being any bigger.
