sxr head on viper?
viper blew up I have a 700 sxr motor only 800 miles! How much stuff will work on my viper? First year on a yamaha last year went threw 2 02 vipers! Sxr is a 01 thanks for any help

The motors are not at all similar. I guess you can probably make the swap, but it will have to be everything.

electrical is different coolant lines are different...not sure if motor mounts will even line up.....this is not a swap motor and go deal. What blew in the Viper motor and why???

crank went out on one. the other a broken a piston and wrecked a lot of the motor I do have enough stuff between the two to make one good engine - the head I think I'll just sell the sxr motor Thanks for the help

yeah, piece together 1 good viper engine from the 2 you have. you'll be much happier in the end and it will be easier.
