Today I took the Viper out of hiding to get ready for the season. First I took out the front shocks and skid. Sending the shocks out to get revalved ( '02).
Upon removal of the skid I noticed the W-arm was broken. Also noticed that almost every bushing was toast.The bushings had about 1000 miles on them and I grease them every weekend out.Flipped the skid over and saw that near the front of one of the rails the hyfax was torn up and the rail has a heavy gouge in it.
Took a look at the track and it had four clips missing and five broken clips. All this on the last ride of the season . Are these factory tracks that bad??
Now I am pondering the 136 this machine. Any thots on this and what kind of rails a guy should look at and where can I get a tunnel ext.

Story sounds familiar... I was out on the last ride last year and just trying to get by with my skid before i tore it down in the spring and had pretty much the same things go wrong short of gouging the rail. TracksUSA has nice rail and tunnel extensions, i was going to get their setup but I found a SC-10 III and a 136x1.25x16 out of a wrecked 04 Doo Renegade and installed that and made my own tunnel extension that will fit a SRX rear heat exchanger (aftermarket extensions expect you to find a smaller MM exchanger, yea no thank you). If you do a search on rail extensions and swaps you will get a pile of good threads, HCS Forum is a good source for em too.

Other that the rails and the tunnel extension. What else would I need to go to 136?
Would this mount in the same place as the 121 or do I neeed to mod my tunnel?
