Hey guys i was wondering if i could make the front end of my Phazer Mountain Lite higher off the ground, my cousin got a 1997 Indy 500 L/C and it is lowered for more speed, i wants to raise mine so it would he higher, it looks nicer and if you dont need speed it would be good.
u can do alot of things to change the height on the front end, easiest is to change the shocks and shock mounts, ie. ohlins with extended mounts, u can also change the whole configuration, if ur interested i have both done in my garage, ranging from stock, to the extended brackets to a full on custom front end with walker evans air shocks, that one sits way high, i could probably snap some pics!
what shock extension brakets are you talking about? I found a set, but will not work on the Mountain Max sled. Which I think is the same shock config he has on his Mountain Lite
Post some pics if you would. I would like to see them
The shock mount extenders that I founf are in this thread about 4 or 5 post down..

I wouldn't do that, it would change the whole geometry of the suspension. The approach would change a lot(depending on how high you raise it). For a mountain sled it counter-acts what you want it to do...TRANSFER.

not lookin' to spend anymore money, plus i got no money now, i was just wondering if you could adjust it without changing anything, but maybe the brackets if i could make then myself.
My cousin got a '97 Indy 500 L/C and there was something on the front suspension somewhere to lower it down or raise it up and all i was really wondering was if there was something to lower or raise the front end on it.
